Location
Our hotel, the Beursaudière Inn, is located in Nitry, a little village in the Yonne department in Burgundy. Ideally situated between Paris and Lyon, at just 1 km off the A6 motorway, the Beursaudière Inn lies at the heart of a little village whose peaceful way of life and traditional Burgundy charm are guaranteed to win you over.
From the hotel, you can discover a host of surrounding treasures: one of France’s 100 most beautiful villages, a cathedral, abbey, basilica and several châteaux, including one under traditional 13th-century construction.
If the weather should turn, fear not, as our region is equally as captivating underground, with its prehistoric caves, former quarries, and not forgetting the many cellars where our precious vintages are safely preserved.
How to get here ?
By car:
- From Auxerre, take the A6 motorway at Auxerre Sud, heading towards Lyon, leave at exit 21, and then take the RD 944 heading towards the village of Nitry, 1 km away. When you get to the church square at the village centre, turn left heading towards Vermenton. The Beursaudière Inn lies just 200 m outside the village.
- It is also possible to take scenic vineyard routes, either that of Chablis or Saint-Bris-le-Vineux.
- From Paris, take the A6 or A5 motorway heading towards Lyon, leave at exit 21, and then take the RD 944 heading towards the village of Nitry, 1 km away. When you get to the church square at the village centre, turn left heading towards Vermenton. The Beursaudière Inn lies just 200 m outside the village.
- From Lyon, take the A6 motorway heading towards Paris, leave at exit 21, and then take the RD 944 heading towards the village of Nitry, 1 km away. - From Troyes, take the RD 944 heading towards Chaource, and then Tonnerre and Nitry. At the village centre, turn right after the church heading towards Vermenton. The Beursaudière Inn lies just 200 m outside the village.
